Art in Need was started by 2 arts management students from the De La Salle — College of Saint Benilde. Is taking an arts program sparked something for them?

Art in Need was founded by 2 teenagers on November 2020 and debut an event on January 2021. How did it all started for the youngsters?

Jose Salvacion and Bramwell Gonzales are block mates and currently the managing directors of Art in Need. As classmates, they were randomly talking about what would be the future of the arts industry and where would be great to invest in. Out of their various conversations, they came up with an idea to create a platform on how we can help local artists adapt to technology since we’re in a pandemic and virtual set up. Right after, they launched a paramount event titled Creatives Convention for a Cause 2021. It was blockbuster and really sparked something for the founders.

Being in the industry and being a start-up itslef is full of uncertainties. But life is about alternatives. Art in Need is built with the foundation of LONGEVITY, ENTHUSIASM, COLLABORATION, AND PASSION. This is how Art in Need is trying to accelerate the local creatives industry. Us, not we!
