That’s a wrap for The Studio 2022! Organized by the Ateneo Management Organization, the Studio’s purpose to show us that art and business can co-exist with each other.

Just like any workshop as of now, The Studio was held virtually last February 17–19, 2022. Workshop and learning sessions happened. Here are the highlights:

THE STUDIO DAY 1 — SPEAKER: VIKTOR KAPUNAN

DAY 1 was a great start with 93 participants from various senior high schools and institutions. The topic was Digital Marketing, The speaker Viktor Kapunan discussed his role as a Social Media strategist for Near Creative. Being a part of a digital marketing agency allows him to learn more about the industry every day. Viktor presented advice on how to improve branding, content creation, and copywriting.

THE STUDIO DAY 2— SPEAKER: Bob Guariña & Allison Barretto of Rec-Create

DAY 2 featured a workshop for Content Creation by Bob Guariña & Allison Barretto of Rec-Create. The speakers highlighted to the 93 participants that despite the challenges, they chose to pursue. Their talk focused a lot on the market, taking a look at the market and your market. They mentioned that they had their friends do the content with them. Rec-Create reminds us that it’s important to be familiar with the different platforms available.

THE STUDIO DAY 3— SPEAKER: INHA ARCEO

DAY 3 wrapped up with a Digital Illustration talk and workshop by Inha Arceo. There were 89 participants from various senior high schools and colleges. Inha Arceo encouraged artists to practice self-love and confidence in their art. She talked about pursuing your passion even if it’s not aligned with your course. Having a free will is the key to illustrating your colorful and meaningful life!

We can conclude from the workshops is that we should work collectively in putting value to our intended audience. The best communication occurs when there is a thriving community. We shouldn’t stop innovating and just continue to explore till we reach the mecca of ourselves. Congrats to AMA for this event and the industry is looking forward to more audience-centric events like this!
